A Welcome Message
Greetings! You are getting a small glimpse of St. Paul's through this website, but we invite you to come check us out in person, and, if you wish, to become a part of our community. We are a church who, while keeping many of our cherished traditions, is stepping out into the 21st century, knowing that we need to find new ways to do God's ministry.
We worship in a beautiful, traditional sanctuary (click here for a Map and Directions). The congregation is over 150 years old, and we have much for which to thank our founding fathers and mothers.
At 8:15 and again at 10:30 on Sunday mornings (click here for Worship schedule details), we praise God together, using Lutheran-style worship. We have a two vocal choirs and a handbell choir, as well as a small orchestra/band that plays from time to time.
Our children's Sunday School is anything but traditional. We learn the stories of the Bible in our learning centers: our Mini-theater, our Art Room, our Computer Lab, and our Drama Room. Our goal is to make Sunday school for our children as good a learning event as Vacation Bible School is - and as much fun.
We gather frequently for fun and fellowship. God has called us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and we consider our neighbors to be the Reading community, greater Cincinnati, and around the world.
For the past few years, we have been involved in numerous building improvement projects, upgrading the facilities here so that we can be effective in doing ministry in the next millennium. Above all, we are a community that helps each other serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, and know his love.
Come, join us, and feel that love.
